WAVETABLE CRATE pairs the gritty 12-bit character of the late-80s hip-hop samplers with a modern resynthesis engine. Drop in a soul vocal, a jazz guitar lick or a horn stab and it digs out the sample's spectral DNA: 256 single-cycle waveforms you can play, stretch and morph like a synth. Then every note runs through a variable-rate, 12-bit sampler circuit for that dusty boom bap texture.
The 12-bit sound, without the old limits
The classic samplers gave us that sound, but they also gave us seconds of memory, one voice at a time and chipmunk vocals whenever you pitched up. WAVETABLE CRATE keeps the crunch and drops the limits.
32-voice polyphony
Play full jazz chords from a sound built out of a single vinyl snare hit.
No chipmunk effect
Pitch a horn stab down four octaves or stretch a vocal over ten bars. It's resynthesized, not sped up.
256-frame wavetables
Every sample becomes a 3D wavetable you can sweep through with one big dial.

01 / Spectral Digging
Drop any WAV, AIFF, FLAC, OGG or MP3 onto the plugin. In about half a second it tracks the pitch across the sample and pulls out 256 single-cycle frames of up to 512 harmonics each. The live 3D display shows the whole wavetable, the frame you're playing and every voice that's sounding.

One dial, endless movement
02 / Spectral Morph
The big MORPH dial sweeps through the sample from start to finish. Four synthesis types bend the sound further, and STRETCH plays through the sample over up to 16 bars, synced to your tempo, while the pitch stays on your keys.

Late-80s grit
03 / S950 Circuit
Every voice runs through a variable sample-rate converter, a 12-bit quantiser and a steep 6th-order low-pass filter. With PITCH TRACK up, the clock follows the note you play like the old hardware did, so low notes alias in that metallic way and highs stay clean.
