Funk Bass and FM Bass cover smooth mono lines, sliding phrases, clean sub weight, brighter harmonics and 808-style decay. Bass Body/Presence adds weight and gentle harmonics, with a front-page lock that works with the sound dice.

Build original synthesized claps or drop a short WAV/AIFF onto LOAD ONE SHOT. Trim the sample, reverse it, soften its attack and blend it with the synth. Add lightweight Tape Warmth, distortion, bit reduction and moving Crunch.

Choose one of 42 original groove starting points spanning soul, slow funk, P-funk, disco, jazz, Afrobeat, soca and more. Generate repeatable four-bar performances, mix and tune the kit, then add Tape and Crunch.

Harmony under your fingers

Browse 351 library progressions, including Velvet Bounce, Timeless 90s R&B, New Jack Swing, Dilla Vol.2, TR-MCREE and the NJS, RnB, House and TB88 collections. Trigger individual chords or full loops with one note, transpose from your keyboard, edit individual notes and use scale-aware suggestions. Groove DNA adjusts strength, swing, humanize, syncopation and pushed-to-laid-back feel. Add an arpeggiator or strum, then export the source MIDI or capture your performed result. Import or drag in your own MIDI progressions, play their chords using paged Chord Keys and export progression-following bass ideas.

Subtle drift. Evolving tone.

Fine Tune and Analog Detune add character to Soul Keys, Funk Bass, FM Bass, Velvet Synths, Soul Organ and Vocal Textures. Wobble adds shaped modulation to Tone, Motion or Warmth, with free or tempo-synced rates. Explore 120 additional soulful presets, from gentle analog drift to subtle moving textures.

Program it. Play it. Make it yours.

The live Rhythm & Percussion engine has editable sixteen-step patterns, A/B variations, fills and optional separate drum outputs. Chorus, synced or free-time delay, reverb, drum Tape/Crunch and MIDI expression help finish the sound. Use the standalone app to sketch, then arrange your exported parts in FL Studio or another compatible DAW.

Before you buy

Early Access means the instrument is still developing before 1.0. Windows and macOS Apple Silicon both offer version 0.54.0: check the formats and tested DAWs above for your setup. Features described as future work are not included yet. Song mode remains planned.

Paid download delivery and any per-sale license activation are still being finalized for this draft listing. No activation service is included or advertised as operational. Public checkout should open only once the actual Windows/Mac downloads and delivery have been verified.

MIDI exports contain notes, timing and performance data, not processed audio. Drum Break Lab stems exclude its whole-kit bus effects. Separate live drum outputs have their own routing behavior; see the manual.
